**Moonlight Falling is a prequel novella to Midnight Burning; Book One of The Norse Chronicles.**

Before he moved to Alaska, Chapman “Mani” Mundy promised his twin sister he would find out why shadows seemed to follow him and why ice sometimes formed in his footsteps. For nearly three years, he has failed to keep that promise, but a budding romance with co-worker, Skyla Ramirez, inspires him to renew his investigation.

If Mani has any hope for a real relationship with Skyla, there can be no secrets or mysteries between them, but as he hunts for the source of his peculiar abilities, sinister adversaries with dangerous motives will emerge from the shadows to conspire against him.

my though

4 ½ ★

I was really excited when I heard there would be a novella agouty Mani .

We know a little about him but not that much only what Solina or Skyla say about him. This all changes with this book.

We not only get to know Mani, we also learn a lot of what happened before Solina came to Alaska.

We see how Mani discovered his powers and how others discover him and how everything started we know from Midnight Burning. As he struggles to learn what they are and how to control them.

I really enjoyed Mani I also really loved what he had with Skyla or what they were starting to have. So sweet and loving. It kind of broke my heart knowing how it all ends for them.

I always liked Skyla but I think after this book, I like her even more.

And there is my favorite Val…. Knowing what I know with Arctic Dawn made it kind of hard to read without wanting to strangle him.

Overall great book, and character that helped me tie over until we finally get the third book in the series.

It was just the right length and we get all the suspense, love and laughter we know and love so much from the previous books.

I rate it 4 ½ ★
