Gray Bishop (Cornerstone Run Trilogy #2) by Kelly Meade

Gray BishopSynopsis:

With the attacks on their homes escalating and human half-breeds seeking sanctuary among them, the loup garou are reaching their breaking point. Two, in particular.

After failing to stop his little brother’s kidnapping years ago, Bishop McQueen angrily broods on his shame, though no one else blames him.

Jillian Reynolds is still dealing with a tragic accident that took everything she ever wanted from life. And her attraction to Bishop is only making things more difficult.

When word reaches them that Jillian’s hometown is under attack, the Alpha takes Bishop, Jillian, and a group of enforcers to assist in the battle. And it is in this chaos that both Bishop and Jillian will have to face their pasts—and the true feelings they have for each other—if they are going to survive…

My thoughts:

This was a great book to continue “Cornerstone Run Trilogy”, the first book was great interdiction to the run and was about Rook and Brynn. This book I thought was even better than the first and was all about Bishop and Jillian but all other players of the previous book are present in this one at some point in the book.

This book is also a lot darker then the last with a very high body count.  It even might be one of the darker (paranormal) books I read in a long time.

Bishop and Jillian really went through a lot in and are tested to no end; they had a pretty rough road to get their HEA.

Overall this book is great, very dark, and heartbreaking with lots of action and yet has some room for romance and love.

If you read the first book “Black Rook” and you enjoyed it, you will definitely enjoy this one.

I rate it at 4 ½ ★

  1. I agree. This book was great. After reading book one, I wasn’t overly impressed with Bishop and Jillian and really just wanted to get through this book to get to Knight’s. Boy was I wrong. This book was even better than Rook’s. And DARK. Great review.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I was the same way didn’t think it would be this good but was happily surprised . Though I can’t wait to read Knight’s story
